La Ilustre Municipalidad de Curacaví extiende una cordial invitación a todos los vecinos y vecinas para ser parte de la gran Gala Folclórica Puel Mapu 2025, que se realizará el sábado 29 de noviembre desde las 19:00 horas en el Colegio El Carmelo, ubicado en Cuesta Lo Prado #16320, sector Lo Prado. Esta presentación representa el trabajo anual del taller municipal de folclore, donde niños, jóvenes y adultos han preparado durante meses un repertorio que rescata y celebra nuestras tradiciones culturales. El nombre «Puel Mapu», que en mapudungun significa «Tierra del Este», refleja el espíritu de esta iniciativa que busca conectar con nuestras raíces ancestrales a través de la danza y la música.
La gala promete ser un viaje por la diversidad del folclore nacional, incluyendo cuecas, tonadas y danzas tradicionales de la zona central, así como representaciones de la cultura mapuche que dan sentido al nombre del taller. Según investigaciones sobre grupos folclóricos, «Puel Mapu» suele asociarse a propuestas que buscan rescatar y difundir la cultura mapuche-chilena, combinando elementos tradicionales con coreografías contemporáneas para crear un espectáculo visualmente atractivo y culturalmente significativo. El taller municipal de folclore, a cargo de monitores especializados, ha demostrado ser no solo un espacio de aprendizaje dancístico, sino también un punto de encuentro intergeneracional que fortalece el tejido social de la comuna. Los asistentes podrán disfrutar de más de dos horas de espectáculo continuo, con vestuarios típicos, música en vivo y la energía contagiosa de nuestros artistas locales que dedican su tiempo a mantener vivas nuestras tradiciones.
