En un paso clave para impulsar la educación superior en la comuna, el alcalde Christian Hernández se reunió con una delegación del Centro de Formación Técnica de la Región Metropolitana (CFT RM), liderada por su rectora Carolina Sánchez, con el objetivo de sentar las bases para la implementación de programas de estudio técnico-profesional en Curacaví.
El encuentro buscó explorar alternativas que permitan generar nuevas oportunidades de formación y crecimiento profesional para los habitantes de la comuna, reduciendo la necesidad de traslado a otras zonas para acceder a educación superior.
“Queremos que Curacaví cuente con herramientas concretas para el desarrollo educativo de nuestros jóvenes. Esta reunión marca un primer paso importante para acercar la formación técnica a la comuna y, con ello, aportar al futuro laboral de nuestra comunidad”, destacó el edil.
Por su parte, la rectora Carolina Sánchez señaló que el CFT RM está comprometido con la descentralización de la educación técnica: “Buscamos colaborar en la creación de alternativas formativas pertinentes para el territorio, en línea con las necesidades productivas y sociales de Curacaví”.
